A DIRECTORY LISTING.
• What is the Directory?
The Songspace Artist Directory is an alphabetical list
of Seattle-area singer-songwriters with links to their web
sites. It can be reached from the Artists page.
• Who Can Be Listed?
The Directory is free and open to all singer-songwriters
who:
• have a web site, or a page on a web site
• live and perform in the greater Seattle area (including
Tacoma)*
• sing their own songs, either as soloists or with
backup musicians
• call themselves "singer-songwriters" (at
least sometimes)
* The geographic boundaries include but
go no farther than:
Tacoma to the south; Everett to
the north;
Sultan, Carnation, Snoqualmie, Enumclaw
to the east;
Vashon Is. and Bainbridge Is. to
the west;
(no Olympia, Bellingham, Whidbey
Is., or Kitsap/Olympic Pen.)
The directory is not appropriate for:
• instrumentalists
• performers who don't sing their own songs (a few
covers are OK)
• recorded music
• non-musical performers or groups
• music in which we can't hear the words
• How to be Listed in the Directory

NOTE: To post events on the Songspace
calendar, you must register
specifically for that purpose; the Directory and the Calendar
are entirely separate.
