By supporting Songspace, you support and strengthen our
musical community. There are a number of ways you can help:
Spread the word: Tell Seattle-area
music-lovers and singer-songwriters about what Songspace
offers: the concert calendar, the artist features, the artist
directory, the venues, the resources... all free. Recommend
us to a friend. Download our postcard and pass/post it around. Send an announcement
to your mailing list. Link
to us on your website. Write a song about it.
Use the calendar: If youre
a singer-songwriter or presenter, use the Songspace calendar
to promote your events. The more artists who use it, the
more useful it will be to everyone.
Keep us up to date: If you know
of artists or venues that are not yet included in Songspace,
or need to be updated, please send us their information.
If you're an artist in our directory, make sure we have
your current information.
Share your ideas: If you have
feedback, suggestions, or brilliant ideas regarding Songspaces
content, usability, or future development, please contact us.
Volunteer: If you have skills
to share (such as HTML/PHP expertise, mailing list maintenance,
writing/editing, publicity and promotion), please contact
us.
Make a financial contribution: Songspace is free
to all users, and there is no paid advertising of any kind.
While overhead is small compared to a commercial site, the
costs for administration, software, domain registration,
hosting, and other expenses do add up. If you'd like to
help defray these costs, and costs connected with Songspace's
future growth, you can:
- Make a direct donation to Songspace.
- Buy books through Songspace.
You can purchase books on the Book List by clicking on the Amazon link beside each title; a portion
of each sale benefits Songspace. Also, if you purchase a copy
of the Indie Bible (a great resource) through our site, Songspace
receives a donation.
Thank you for your participation and support!
